so, i get this call from an advertising agency, benchcraft company, out of portland, oregon. and they talk to us about advertising in the course guide book for the trilogy golf course in corona, ca. they also have a few other golf courses, but this is one of the closest to our location, and the first to contact us. so, i am all about supporting big believers in support of our business, our personal life decisions, and friendships. so, i said, well since they are the first to approach us with this opportunity, how can we make the biggest impact, so that we see our roi {return on investment} the soonest? that way we know if we're doing well, or gage just how many people respond from this type of advertisement. right? well, we went ahead with this company back in march of 2008. we're now approaching may 2008, and i haven't received a call, proof of the course page, nothing showing any reason for the initial investment of $200, that the rep said we would be getting in a timely manner. so finally, it cinco to drinko, and i am irritated with this buzz killer of a company. so i get on the phone to call the company, mind you, i wrote down every person i have spoken to, and not one person is in charge of our account. and that chaps my left hide...because every person you talk to, you have to explain the situation, over and over and over again, and again...you get the picture.

long story short, i finally get this nice rep, who is willing to stake my claim, and decided that we do not have to pay the remainder of the balance until...the layout and guidebook have been ok, and ready to ship to trilogy golf course at glen ivy. so, these are things to consider when you are looking for companies to advertise with, and get the biggest bang for your buck! hopefully this brings us a great turnout. if not, well, you learn and then try something new. however, ii was always told that it take 6 hits to change a habit or to plant a seed.
we'll be featured for 1 year...
wish us luck!
