free at last, free at last!

fffeeew! i know it's late but i thought i'd sneak this win in!
we are finally free to build and begin to dream again! wow! did we thought this day would never come.
it's official...we have been cleared from all divisions of the county... and can start official construction!
can we just tell you, starting your own business is a bitter sweet process, and every little detail counts. pay the professionals that specialize in each step of the opening process. it may seem sometimes like you might save some money up-front...but you lose allot more later. i'm glad we were very persistent, because, if it wasn't for victor's micromanaging skills, we might still be going through the plan check step. imagine that...what should have been a 1-2month plan checking process, took us 3 months to get through. maybe even 4 because of overlooked simple mistakes. pay the professionals! it's worth it.
ok. enough of my rant. learn from this...that's the curve ball! STRIKE 3!

look for us at the opening of "pura".
the eyebrow threading joint next door to our shop. we will be pouring some of our signature wines for her grand opening soon!
it's a free tasting.
so come out and support your eastvale residents.
have some wine and thread your brow.
if you have time, you might want to get a facial or a massage while you’re at it!

our first win!

corona eastvale event

that's right! how could i forget to mention our first win! we officially have our first wine club members! how exciting is that. boy "o" boy! did we have a blast. our close friend patty zamora, asked us to pour, talk about wine, and our store at her friend sandra's house party! sure we said! please, why not! thank you to our neighbor sandra and john mayes
(she is tired of shopping at ralphs and vons for wines that don't fit her style! )

again, thank you sandra and john for opening your home to winestyles and allowing us to promote our store location and concept.
can i just share with you... we have had friends and family over to our house time and time to talk about our venture, and taste some of our wines. cool. we automatically thought that it would be in our immediate circle that one of them would be our first club member. as a matter of fact both victor and i had dibbs on who would be the first club members. i had one of our friend couples in mind, he had another. we were both wrong! our first club member came from the first party we had outside of our circle! i thought that was truly amazing! and now for the unveiling of our first official wine club members. yahoo!

thank you to: cecilia

and j.r. ( not junior)

from our corona eastvale neighborhood for being our very first wine club members. opening day, we definitely have something special waiting for them. isn't that cool!

and next, she tentatively has signed an agreement to become the second wine club member:
irene and greg from chino hills, ca
how awesome is that! thank you all again for your support! kit

slowly but surely

not open yet...slowly but surely
still waiting for things to happen! starting a business is no joke. the county, well let's just say, they really need to streamline the process and cut out allot of fat...if you know what i mean {wink, wink}. however, i think once this process is over, we will be more appreciative of our lil' ol' business.
so far, it looks like the end of march is when we will be opening. which is perfect because we have time to visit some winemakers before the unveiling of our shop. then we'll really be up to date with more info on individual wineries, regions, and varietals. that way we can better direct you to your style and really know the labels story. right? so with that said... since we're still not open, we're heading up to paso robles,ca.
stay tuned for those pictures and aha! moments
